Green Building

Green Building

When we talk about Green Building as opposed to Natural Building, we mean specifically building that results in an efficient finished product–so the building uses less resources over its lifetime–and makes wise use of construction resources by favoring locally available and reclaimed materials.

There’s a lot of overlap between Natural Building and Green Building, even within a single building project.

For some examples of Green Building at Dancing Rabbit see:

  • The Grain Bin – a two bedroom strawbale retrofit.
  • Community Building: All about our common house that serves the needs of both community members and Dancing Rabbit’s outreach program.

Make sure to check out the green building techniques and choices on the Natural Building pages.
