Support eco-solidarity today! ✊🌳

Dear friends of Dancing Rabbit,

Today is Giving Tuesday. Now is the time to act and help us achieve our mission of growing a regional network of people working together to build a future rooted in joyful cooperation, regenerative land use and intentional engagement with the systems that shape our lives. To do this we’re raising $5,000 for our Mutual Aid, Network Building, and Activism (MANA) fund.

The MANA fund will support Rabbits in self-organized excursions to build regional solidarity, provide tangible support for values-aligned projects and vulnerable communities, and advocate for positive social change. If we hit our goal of $5,000, we can fund 15-50 excursions. All trips are organized and led by volunteers; the fund mainly covers travel expenses, and with our enthusiasm for filling up the community minivan with volunteers, every dollar counts!

Ecovillages like Dancing Rabbit have a unique role to play in the conversation about how we address the failings of our current system and craft a future that is not only liveable, but full of meaning, hope, and resilient and thriving communities. Our almost 30 years of experience building a community from the ground up has yielded invaluable lessons. That said, we will forever be learning and adapting.

By deepening our involvement with a diversity of projects with their own sets of goals, challenges, and opportunities, we hope to expand our horizons and discover new ways our ecovillage, and those living here, can follow their passion to make a difference. At this stage, that means showing up, doing good work, and laying the foundation for relationships that have the possibility to lead to beautiful and unexpected collaborations.

In community,
