Malamalama means to care for, to nurture. The work exchange position is primarily to help me with my one year old and to a lesser degree my ten year old. We will also be gardening and building a home and sub-community together. Beyond, my most immediate needs there is the wider Dancing Rabbit community which is loaded with opportunity to learn and participate in different projects. Furthermore, work must be balanced with free time and there are amazing people to meet and the land to bond with…and the pond, dances, music…

The most hours you would need to help with are 35. Likely, you will work between 25 – 30.

    One Work exchanger:

  • 18 hours childcare
  • 3 hours cooking
  • 5 – 10 hours gardening
  • 5 – 10 hours Wildside (our sub-community) projects
  • 4-8 hours doing DR projects

Obviously, there is some play in there. Your help and time is appreciated and valued, so it is essential that your stay with my family and friends is a fulfilling and mostly enjoyable experience.
