Saturday Tours

We offer a tour of our village on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, April through October. The tour begins at 1:00 pm and generally lasts one and a half to two hours. You do not need to make a reservation for the regularly scheduled Saturday tour. If you need directions, please call the Dancing Rabbit office at 660-883-5511 or email us. Currently we offer tours free of charge. We gladly accept donations to help us continue our educational mission! Tours involve a fair amount of walking, so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. You might want to bring a water bottle and sun protection in the summer months.

Get the most out of your Saturday visit! Join us for a homemade lunch at the Milkweed Mercantile anytime from 11:00 am until the tour begins at 1:00 pm on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. Or feel free to drop in before 6 pm for refreshments and baked goods! No reservations necessary.

Special Tours & Group Tours

We strongly encourage you to come to our regularly scheduled tour. However, if that doesn’t seem possible, please email us  (dancingrabbitaticdotorg)   to schedule an alternate tour. We need at least two weeks notice. We do not offer tours on a drop-in basis. We also offer tours to groups. With enough notice, these tours can be tailored to specific educational topics or interests. Please email us  (dancingrabbitaticdotorg)   in advance to schedule a group tour. We need at least two weeks notice. When tours are specially scheduled, we ask that you pay:

  • Local Residents (Scotland & Knox County) — free
  • Groups of 1 – 5 people — $25 per group
  • Groups of 6 or more people — $5 per person
