The Gardens

Here you see some of the gardens here at DR. We grow all of our fresh vegetables, and in the winter we eat what we canned or dried during the growing season. Our gardens are all organic and we use primarily hand labor.

Near the outdoor kitchen , there is an herb garden where herbs such as oregano, basil, mint, dill, anise, cilantro, chamomile, comfrey, echinacea, sage, bee balm, lemon balm, and more grow. It is common to see herbs and flowers hanging to dry there.
