Biodiesel Lab

This is our biodiesel lab, where we turn used vegetable oil into biodiesel. Our goal is to produce all our fuel on site, but for now we've been purchasing it from a commercial manufacturer.

Our lab is basically a lab table for doing titration and measurement, a 200 gallon reaction chamber made from an old air compressor tank, and various areas for mixing and storing of materials. Of course we also have safety equipment, such as an eyewash station and a fire extinguisher.

Currently the biodiesel lab also provides storage space for construction materials, such as windows and doors, and our reused and surplus material hardware store. We have more information about biodiesel elsewhere on our site.
