"Guidelines" Official At Last
After much discussion and editing, we've consensed upon the Dancing Rabbit Sustainability Guidelines! This legal document will be signed by all DR residents and describes what we mean when we say "sustainable". Like the United States Constitution, the Guidelines are a set of general principles that set out the framework of ecological sustainability. They don't go into any detail; instead, they simply describe how Dancing Rabbit members should conduct themselves in relationship to the Earth.
In theory, the simple statements below are sufficient to govern life at Dancing Rabbit. Since all residents agree to abide by the Guidelines, no other enforcement of ecological acceptable behavior is necessary. In reality, we expect a lot of confusion and even argument as to what these broad statements really mean. So, we've also created a detailed document that expands upon the Guidelines (see next page).
If you have comments or questions, we'd love to hear them. Your feedback will help us refine the Sustainability Guidelines to be even more complete and clear.
