People often ask what it's like at DR on a typical day, but there really are no typical days here! Life changes with the seasons and with the people who come and go.
So instead of giving you a single "typical day" narrative, we offer instead several samples of what various people have written about day to day life at Dancing Rabbit. Some are visions of the future; others chronicle the present and recent past.
Memphis Democrat Column
In the summer of 2000 DR member Rachel Katz began writing a correspondence column for our local paper, the Memphis Democrat. The paper runs numerous such columns from small towns around the county, telling tales of dinner at the neighbors and what kinds of pie were served. Rachel decided it was time for DR to hit the big time and tell our neighbors what we do all week - especially when it involves pies. Hopefully you'll enjoy her weekly columns too. If you'd like to get these columns emailed to you weekly, type in your email address in the form below and click "Sign Up!".
Jacob's Travelogues
Former DR and Skyhouse member and now DR Board Member Jacob Stevens had been writing travelogues for his friends. When he settled down at DR he continued writing, cleverly transforming them into Sedentary Travelogues.
