Creating Sustainable Culture

We desire a culture that embodies the ideals of sustainability; that can coexist with the patterns, the technologies, and the rhythms of sustainable life. We hope that the culture we are evolving will be fully supportive of people living a sustainable lifestyle within a healthy community.

While it would be impossible to describe everything we value or all the aspects that help to define our culture, we've attempted here to address some factors that are core to our culture here at DR (and possibly to sustainable culture in general).

We are a young community and our culture is just beginning to take shape. We aren't steeped in dogma, but instead offer an open and changeable culture. All our new members will of course impact our blossoming culture in ways we can't even imagine. What could you add to the mix?
